Licences Fees below are exclusive of GST and are automatically renewed each year.
The current licence year is today through to June 30th 2024.
Your licence will automatically renew on July 1st 2024. You may cancel your licence in writing here.
You will receive a Certificate of Licence to display for the current licence year. Buy NZ may charge a $65 + GST fee to reprint a certificate of licence.
Business
MANUFACTURER, PRODUCT OR SERVICE INDUSTRY LICENCE FEES
All businesses pay a one-off registration fee of $95 and an optional one-off Custom URL setup fee of $85 when they first join.
The licence is pro-rated in the first year. (Our licence year runs from 1 July to 30 June. If you join part-way through our licensing year, you only pay for the months remaining until July).
Retail
FOR RETAIL BUSINESSES, NO PRODUCT LABELLING ALLOWED
The licence is pro-rated in the first year. (Our licence year runs from 1 July to 30 June. If you join part-way through our licensing year, you only pay for the months remaining until July).
Retail Licences are for physical or online retailers to use the trademark in general marketing.
Retail licence holders are unable to licence and label products.
Charity and Education Provider
FOR CHARITIES AND EDUCATION PROVIDERS PROMOTING NZ MADE PRODUCTS
This includes school groups and school enterprise projects.
Registered charities can use this licence, or if you are making a New Zealand Made product and the proceeds are going to charity.
No registration or annual fees.
A Custom URL is not available for this licence class.
Associate licence
FOR EXTRA BUSINESSES OR SUBSIDIARIES OF A CURRENT LICENCE HOLDER
Registered NZ Made licence holders can register to use this licence for a second business or subsidiary
