Marketing Initiatives for Licensees
Social Media Posts
We are always looking for interesting content to share across our social media channels - so whether it's a picture of your team packing an order, details of a new product or a seasonal special, send it through as we'd love to publicise it. We also love to share something from those who’ve recently joined us. Read more here.
As of June 2017, we have over 15,500 Facebook fans. Often we’ll put a competition on our Facebook page with the prize being a donated from one of you. These prove very popular and give a high level of exposure. We can ‘boost’ our competitions through very effective Facebook advertising. More info on this here.
One of the best ways we can help promote you is through our Marketplace. Make sure your listing is launched and up-to-date. You can even include a special or competition as one of your three product listings. If you need your invite resent or any help, contact us.
Our new Marketplace also includes a blog where we feature your news, stories and relevant NZ Made content. If you have a press release or anything you’d like to share, just email it through to us.
Throughout the year we run relevant promotions using products featured in pop-up categories on our Marketplace and across social media. These will include Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas. Just make sure your listing is up-to-date on our Market and keep an eye out for opportunities in our promotional emails.
Once a month we send Your Monthly New Zealand Made Fix e-news to our database of over 6,000 consumers. This provides an opportunity for you to feature relevant specials (e.g Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Food Month) or share any product news. Reminders for these will feature in our promotional emails.
Each month we award one of our licensees with a Hero Award. The Hero Awards highlight companies who not only do a fantastic job promoting their New Zealand made status but who have excelled in other key commercial areas. Download the nomination form here. Our winners so far are showcased on our Marketplace.
Motorsport Champion Paul Radisich is our current Buy NZ Made Brand Ambassador. Keep an eye out for information in our promotional emails to see how this can benefit you.
Trade Show/Exhibition Assistance
We often attend shows with a group of licensees to reduce costs and achieve greater presence. Upcoming Tradeshows will be featured in promotional e-news. If there’s something you'd like to be part of let us know and we can send through more details.
We’re always open to new ideas, so if you any thoughts on how you’d like to see Buy NZ Made being promoted, get in touch.
