A Kiwi Original | Christchurch Growers | Episode 4

In Aotearoa, growing is in our DNA. In this episode, we take a look at two businesses utilising our natural environment to create stunning and delicious products, Pataka Berries and Sheep Milk NZ. Keeping a business alive for 12 years is an achievement, keeping a business thriving for 112 years is extraordinary. Pataka Berries is run by husband and wife partners, Ian and Margaret Johnstone. They carry on the Johnstone family legacy of growing great produce (and the most delicious berries) just north of Christchurch. Sheep Milk NZ is applying the nourishing power of sheep milk to the Sabelle skincare range and their Jones Family Farm cheese. The skincare range is extensive and is beautifully gentle on sensitive skin with its combination of mānuka honey and sheep milk. We visit the Jones Family Farm, where some of the luckiest sheep in the world are treated to the lush pastures of Canterbury.
